x2 Postdoctoral Computational Scientist in Disease Modelling, Dept Zoology, Oxford, UK


The Department of Zoology at the University of Oxford is looking for a Postdoctoral Computational Scientist for a fixed-term of 4.5 years to lead a programme of research and development at the interface of malaria epidemiology, malaria spatial dynamics and control, statistical analysis, algorithm development, and policy. The postholder will bring together datasets and concepts describing human and mosquito mobility, human malaria infections and epidemiology, human health systems and health seeking behaviour, mosquito ecology, intervention distribution and effectiveness, and human population distributions. They will iteratively modify the resulting software to serve the interests of core constituencies.
