The University of Liverpool are currently recruiting for a GI Programmer, with the appointment running through to 31 January 2014.

The role will focus on the design and deliver of a web mapping, analysis and communication platform that will serve as a central point of reference for a network of stakeholders across the UK, the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany.
Ideally you should have a degree in Computer Science, Geographic Information Science or a related discipline, significant programming experience and a familiarity with processing geographical data. Web mapping technologies and application programming interfaces (API) would be advantageous. The post is available from 1 September 2012 until 31 January 2014.
