Short description of project activities:

WP2: Organization (together with Martin Groschup and Marc Mertens) of a seroepidemiological study to investigate the distribution of CCHFV in the countries of southeastern Europe. Establishment of diagnostic methods to detect CCHFV specific antibodies in sera from goat, cattle and sheep.

WP 15-17: In the Public Health group, analysis and characterization of the impact of Vector-borne diseases on Public Health.

Main skills:

Virus diagnostic for Bunyaviridae (CCHFV)and Flaviviridae(WNV) and coordination of public health activities
