A Public Health Information Analyst is required who has worked in a public health setting, and who has a thorough knowledge of appropriate data sources.  Essential experience includes the ability to analyse complex information and previous experience of extracting data from primary care clinical systems. Any knowledge of SystmOne would be an advantage.  Knowledge of  child, maternity and mortality data sources is desirable as is an in depth knowledge and understanding  of information governance relating to child and maternity data.

Essential systems knowledge includes Microsoft Office (especially Excel and Access) and desirable systems knowledge includes SQL server, Mapinfo,  GIS and SPSS.
